We cut the main line on a 200 meter line! Both a continuous setup AND with an Inov Split highline. Thank you Matthew McMillan, Matt Stolling, Travis Phillips, Levi Lowe, Rob Smith (Slimb soap) for helping with this experiment.
Our results were the following:
Highline was 210 meters long
Bag weighs 107lbs or 48kgs
Bag was approximately 60 meters away from anchor
CONTINUOUS LINE
Anchor went from 2.5kn to about 4kn or 5kn
Bag saw 2.5kn of force
Bag dropped 18m or 59ft
SLACK INOV SPLIT
Anchor went from 2.56kn to 3.15
Bag saw 1.42kn of force
Bag dropped 8m or 26ft
