Metolius TCU climbing cams pulled until failure - Great Slow Motion!

We pulled a set of TCU Climbing cams out of granite cracks and broke rocks, slings and wires. Samples 938 to 949 on our Slacksnap chart is on Samples slipped as low as 5.5kn and broke as high as 15.85 which is a huge range. The axel would get bent and make the lobes look all messed up! Dynamometer should have been LineScale2 if we didn't break it... Get the LS3 at No sponsors, just stoke. Thank you for your donations!

Breaking Gear Fear

Edutainment has been a great way to help people understand their gear, and know the true limitations of it.  Watching HOW gear fails is more important than the force itself, as almost all gear is super good enough.  It's more important to share information on how to stay safe than it is to have a paywall.  We hope our stoke is contagious.
