This video is in response to a video demonstrating that soft shackles reduced the strength of webbing sewn loops too much to be safe on a highline. We did over 10 break tests to demonstrate that they are super good enough. We even broke a 12mm quicklink with a super old 8mm soft shackle.
Thank you Lorenzo DeMuro and Kyle Lovett for helping make this video.

Stephan Chalkowski from Raed Slacklines is a good slackline company and this is a friendly dispute over two schools of thoughts about a unique tool that we use in highlining to make our rigs lighter and in my opinion (mixed with imperical data)... stronger. I appreciate anyone who makes an effort to move us forward in our slack knowledge. Cheers Stephan!
Thank you

All donations go straight back into making this channel better. We put donors names in the ending credits and give them exclusive access to the SlackSnap Raw Data spreadsheet + corresponding footage associated with each break. This all couldn't happen without you!
