How we rigged the giant space net for GGBY and walked a slackline set up in the middle!

This project was a collaboration from so many slackers, ideas and crossed fingers that it was very exciting to have it officially rigged for www.ggbygather.org . The net was hand woven in my living room and in the park square by square by an amazing team over several months. Thank you to @charlies_webs @mikevanbikeman @sagelysight @tati.gaia @jmanslackin @loriggzo @spencermcbrideable @wind_bender_shea @meladapted.

This could not have happened without the many people who helped rig this for the festival, including so many who did not get a free ticket to the festival. Thank you to my main rigging team Michael Melner, TJ Gillick, Mike Vanderberg, Matheus Waeny, Brent Hahn, Chris Merelander. (Sorry I couldn't tag everyone, hit me up and I can include your name)

Thank you Dan Walsh for not only running the entire festival but also flying out your triangle net to be included in this art project.

Thank you https://www.linegrip.com/linescale-2/ for loaning us a linescale2 for this project. Wingsuit flyer in the beginning of this video: @bendicko101

Breaking Gear Fear

Edutainment has been a great way to help people understand their gear, and know the true limitations of it.  Watching HOW gear fails is more important than the force itself, as almost all gear is super good enough.  It's more important to share information on how to stay safe than it is to have a paywall.  We hope our stoke is contagious.
